Edmonton, Alberta-based Allarco Entertainment and its Canadian national broadcast arm Super Channel, have acquired the rights to the Legends Football League (LFL) and its weekly television ratings-hit, ‘LFL Football Night’.
Super Channel officials are launching Super Channel SPORTS in April where the LFL is projected to be its flagship franchise, debuting nationally throughout Canada on Saturday, April 22 at 9pm ET.
“We are excited to bring the LFL to Canadian viewers and announce the launch of Super Channel SPORTS,” said Don McDonald, Chief Operating Officer for Super Channel. “The LFL is a proven sports franchise that is building in popularity around the world. The LFL has become one of the fastest-emerging sports franchises on television, having been broadcast to a staggering 190+ television territories around the world on major television networks such as NBC Universal, MTV Networks, SKY, LeTV, ESPN International, Ten Sports, Band Sports, SBS Broadcasting, Televisa and many more.

Super Channel SPORTS will be the exclusive home of LFL Football Night through the 2019 season. Alongside the full-length games in HD, Super Channel SPORTS will also broadcast and make available online various complimentary LFL programming to include player and team features as well as incredible access for its viewers with short-form programming, taking fans inside the game.
